Executive Insight Suite (EIS) Process

5 Simple Steps

EIS employs a simple five-step process that requires a minimal investment of management time.

Business Process Identification and RankingA brief facilitated analysis session is required to identify the targeted business processes.  Four key characteristics are explored from which the EIS process will calculate a vulnerability rating and enable the ranking of each process.  This information will also be incorporated in the associate contribution to the business calculation for those responsible for managing, supporting, or using these processes.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies IdentificationAn inventory of all skills and competencies, along with the required level of proficiency to perform each job, is derived from the client’s detailed job descriptions.  If detailed descriptions are not available, Insight can help you develop them.  An optional inventory capturing the knowledge level required to use or support each business process can be developed by working with process owners.

Associate/Manager Web SurveyAssociates play a direct role in the EIS process by documenting their business process knowledge levels, as well as providing a personal assessment of their individual skill and competency levels through a confidential web-based survey.  Survey results are validated through a similar survey of their supervisors, which are automatically compared and discrepancies noted.  A reconciliation of the discrepancies is facilitated through discussions between the associate and supervisor establishing a baseline for each resource.

Management ReportingThrough a series of proprietary algorithms, the EIS process performs extensive analyses to determine such things as associate contribution to the business, individual and organizational skill deficiencies, optimum staffing candidates, etc.  This information is revealed to the client through a wide variety of reports.  While the library of reports created by the EIS process has been designed to expose a broad spectrum of managerial issues, new reports can easily be added.
